Mine arrived actually white, and whatever "plastic-y" smell it had was gone in hours. It isn't very thick, but it is supportive. If you're looking for something squishy and super comfortable, this isn't it, but if you're looking for supportive and durable, this is perfect.

I take long baths nightly, so I need a pillow that will be both comfortable and durable. Others mildewed and/or fell apart after a few months of nightly usage. This pillow, with its rubbery texture appears, for all intents and purposes, to be fairly mildew resistant.
However, as another reviewer noted, the pillow is not actually white. In fact, after getting wet, it actually appears very lavender (though the lavender color fades a little upon drying).
Also, the pillow is not particularly thick or cushiony, just so you know.

This Bath pillow was much smaller than I expected. The suction cups on the back can't all hold at the same time, because the tops ones let go when you get the bottom ones to hold.

Ordered a white pillow and received what was called white, but was a light shade of lavender. Product was returned and replaced in a very timely manner. Problem same color. This must be their white.

A very comfortable bathtub pillow, especially since you can adjust the position of it in the tub.
