I had an Electrolux that lasted for 20 years. Since then we've gone through 10 vacuums in the last 10 years. Although this item says Eureka on Amazon, the one we received had the Eletrolux name on it. They are the same company now. I just received this one yesterday. It appears to be built solid, but fairly light. Very quiet. We bought this for our home. The only negative so far is that the bags are not available at our local Walmart, but are easily available online, including Amazon Marketplace.
