Product Description
Wouldn't it be great to feel like somebody special every morning? With the Kensington style towel rack, you're sure to feel like you've been transported to a five-star hotel. The Kensington style towel rack warms your towel to toasty perfection for your use, and efficiently dries it when you are done. A staple in European homes, a towel warmer can warm and dry not only towels, but quickly dries delicate clothing as well. Even those wet scarves, gloves and sweaters that seem to pile up during the rainy season will be safely dried by this towel warmer. Economically practical, this towel warmer runs on only pennies a day, and by drying your wet towels quickly and preventing them from becoming musty, it reduces the need to constantly wash and dry towels - saving you time and money. Easy to mount on your bathroom wall. Available in 3 finishes - chrome, polished brass and satin nickel. UL listed, 105 watt rating. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: Easy. A restocking fee will be deducted if this item is returned.

5 out of 5 stars Hardwired Kensington Towel Warmer   December 12, 2006

I've been very happy with this towel warmer. I recently renovated my bathroom and had the builders install this, so I can't speak to the difficulty of hardwiring this personally, but after a professional installation this works very well. Keep in mind, your towels don't get toasty hot, they get dry (and warm). My only quibble is that Warmrails puts some really cheap-looking clear plastic stickers on this. Once you take them off, which you'll want to do because they don't even bother to put them on straight or to make sure they aren't crimped, they leave a sticky residue. I haven't been sure how to clean this off, but I guess it hasn't bothered me that much because I'm sure I could figure it out pretty easily. This is an easy and inexpensive way to turn your bathroom into a bit of a spa, and I'm glad I purchased this.

5 out of 5 stars Terrific and a great bargin   May 28, 2007

We bought two of the hard-wired satin-nicket warmers had an electrician install them. They work great, we always have a warm toasty towel available and never suffer from diving out of the shower and grabbing a damp towel. again.
Compared to almost identical warmers available at specialty appliance stores these cost $100 of less and work great.

5 out of 5 stars I love my warm towels   January 11, 2007

This towel rack was the perfect solution for us. The hardwire/softwire option allowed us to begin using the Warmrails right away (by pluging it in) and eventually we will hard wire it with the included parts. Our towels are always dry now and they never smell (which used to be a problem since they didn't dry out). There are now less towels in the laundry each week since they can be used longer. Hopefully, that energy savings will offset the relatively small amount of energy used by Warmrails.

5 out of 5 stars Finally...   January 5, 2007

Finally an eloquent simple solution to cold damp towels. The hardest thing was deciding on the best location in our bathroom. It was easily installed and works extremely well. Its great for drying towels after use as well as warming them for you. Installation is quick & simple using the soft wire solution although using the hard wire option (if you so choose) takes careful placement. Picked this particular unit for its large size we need with our large family. Took down a towel rack & installed the unit there by myself. Look great and works amazingly well. Only negative which is minor is the tacky sticker/label on part of the unit which I removed (should have been silk screened or airbrushed onto the metal directly).

5 out of 5 stars You can't beat warm towels on a cold morning   December 24, 2007

Installs really easy. Works very well. Keeps towels hot and dry. Had another, and cheaper, model in my old house. The mounting brackets were plastic and broke more than once. On this model all is metal.
You may consider installing a timer to save a little on the electricity.
Only my best recommendations. Good price via Amazon, 30% off MFRP.
