Does what it says on the box November 16, 2008 I've only had the Hampton towel warmer for a few days, but so far I am perfectly happy with it. Setup took only a few minutes to attach the legs (with the included allen wrench). I am using it mostly to dry my towels and washcloths, as I live in a very cool, damp climate with no central heating. I usually have only one towel on the warmer, and as I am more concerned about drying than heating, I do not fold it. Still, I find the Hampton does a perfectly decent job of warming the towel so it's more comfortable when I step from my nice hot shower into my chilly bathroom. I can't comment on electricity usage yet, but I see no need to keep it turned on 24/7 - we'll see after I get my next electric bill!
As advertised June 23, 2008 The product works as advertised. Easy to assemble. Room for two standard size bath towels plus a washcloth or two laid underneath. Definitely not for "bath sheet" size towels. A third or fourth towel layered on top will get dry, but not particularly warm. Towels in contact with the surface will be warm, not hot. Overall, a good value for the price.

Long warm up time January 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a nice attractive towel warmer but the warm up time on the instructions stated 45 mins. It takes longer than that to get a towel warm enough to tell any difference. It still doens't warm them the way it should. It's not ant better than the cheaper rod versions. Don't waste the extra money on this one. Instead buy the cheaper rod versions.
a little warmer January 12, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Warmrails Hampton (Flat Panel) Freestanding Electric Towel Warmer, Chrome I found this towel warmer to be a little disappointing since I must start to heat the towel at least 2-hours prior to using so I can get some warmth on the towel. Also, the towel does not remain warm for very long.
