Product Description Warm butter, make rice pudding or warm sauces and soups in this 1-qt. pan. It's from the Simply Calphalon Nonstick line that features Calphalon's signature hard-anodized aluminum construction for excellent conductivity and even heating along the bottom and sides of the pan. The interior's surface is double-coated with Calphalon's sturdy, reliable nonstick coating. It's accented with a sleek, brushed stainless steel lid and long stay-cool handle. The sauce pan is oven-safe to 450 degrees.
Amazon.com Review The Simply Calphalon Nonstick Anodized line of cookware is an excellent alternative for those who prefer cooking on a nonstick surface and who desire Calphalon quality at a budget price. Perfect for single servings, this 1-quart saucepan cooks an individual portion of vegetable soup, puttanesca sauce, or quinoa. Made of durable hard-anodized aluminum of uniform thickness, the pan is an excellent heat conductor and cooks food quickly and evenly. Its double-coated nonstick interior prevents food from sticking and makes cleanup easier. The pan has a contoured oval stainless-steel handle with a blasted satin finish that is comfortable to grip and is held in place by sturdy stainless-steel rivets. The contrasting brushed stainless-steel cover is slightly domed for steaming foods, offering more versatility to this pan. This saucepan is oven-safe up to 375 degrees F so you don't have to dirty several pans to make one dish. All cookware in this line is 100-percent dishwasher-safe (although cleaning with soap and water is recommended to maintain the nonstick finish) and is covered by a 10-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

This much quality for this little price?
After reading the previous review, I kept an eye out to match that price, and tripped over these little guys briefly at $9.99. Not to be outdone, I also picked up three.. The one quart size finished out my cookware upgrade... I have both Calphalon and Cuisinart, anodized, nonstick and stainless - all bought on sale from Amazon... I was really plesed with the quality of these little saucepans - I was expecting thinner material, at least as thin as the Cuisinart.. The only place I note they may have cut corners, is that the handles aren't polished - but I don't find that a problem at all, in fact, the "out of the cast" finish improves the grip... And because I got them at that price AND free shipping, I kept checking to see if my order actually went through.
Thank you Amazon...
Perfect for small servings January 20, 2005 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
Excellent quality for the lesser calphalon cookware line. I bought 3 on the friday sale for $12.98 and consider that quite a bargain. The Amazon product review is right on target!
I Love This Tiny Saucepan August 2, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love Calphalon, and this Saucepan did not disappoint. I use it at least 3 times a week. It is so easy to clean because nothing sticks to it.
I would recommend this to EVERYONE, start using Calphalon because it is the best material out there for cooking.
Best Li'l Saucepan Around July 18, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This non-stick pan is exactly the right size for heating a can of soup, making small batches of sauce and gravy, or the kids' morning oatmeal. I use it several times a week. It is also easy to handle and clean. The lid fits perfectly, and it is solidly made. I also have the flat griddle and crepe pan of the same series, all excellent.
