Product Description
Whisk in a bowl or in a pan with this heat-resistant whisk. It won't scratch surfaces, and it won't melt in the pan.

Amazon.com Review
Whip egg whites and cream, blend and smooth sauces, whisk zabaglione, and perform myriad other kitchen tasks with this 12-inch balloon whisk. Calphalon's nonstick nylon kitchen tools are designed for safe use on all nonstick surfaces. A hole in the handle facilitates hanging on a peg or hook. Hand wash with mild detergent. --Fred Brack

5 out of 5 stars Whisk for those non-stick pots and pans!   September 26, 2007
best whisk in the world for those non-stick and hard-anodized pots and pans. Works great

4 out of 5 stars Just Fine   October 7, 2002

I purchased this item several months ago to use with my T-Fal cookware.I found it very useful and am still quite satisfied with it.My nonstick cookware is not the type you can use metal utensils on,so that is why I bought this whisk.I use it mainly to stir soups and gravies with. The whisk is not stiff enough to easily whip egg whites ,or stuff like that, and it was slightly overpriced I thought, after I got it.That is the only reasons I gave it a four star rating instead of a five star rating

4 out of 5 stars Safe and works okay!   July 20, 2001

This is a strong, sturdy and attractive whisk for all kinds of whisking. It doesn't do as well as medal whisks but does better than most plastic whisks i have used though. And it won't damage your non-stick cookware either. I suggest everyone have it and all the other calphalon utensils as well!

3 out of 5 stars Wimpy Whisk   December 29, 2000

The Calphalon Nylon Balloon Whisk works okay if you have to smooth out a sauce that is cooking in a nonstick pot. However, the 12-inch size is not the best for whipping egg whites. I use a 14-inch French Balloon wire whisk and an unlined copper bowl for this purpose. I like the looks of all the black Calphalon nylon utensils and keep them in a tall crock near my stove. This utensil is not used very often, so I would buy the others first (the flat nylon whisk does work for scrambling eggs in a nonstick pan though).

2 out of 5 stars Ive used better.   December 24, 2001

This item is nice but Ive had better.I know a wisk should be
somewhat flexable. However for mixing large batches of cake batter and or even a smaller size by hand. This item is extremly to flexable and messy. Its handle is hard to grip on to aswell.I would not buy this item again.
