Amazon.com Review If you're a Food Network aficionado, this set of five mini mixing bowls is just what you need to keep up with the pros. Set aside a tablespoon of nutmeg in the smallest bowl or 3 cups of flour in the largest. The middle three bowls hold 1/4, 3/4, and 1-1/2 cups, respectively. Array your ingredients in front of you for easy access, then pour and blend a la Julia Child. This is also a perfect starter set for a child--the small sizes easily fit their eager little hands. --Dana Van Nest

Fabulous mixing bowls! June 16, 2000 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I use these bowls all the time--for cooking and serving. They are fabulous for holding ingredients before adding them to a recipe or for pre-mixing dry ingredients. Also, the bowls are sleek and attractive enough that I can use them as serving dishes on the table for small salads and condiments. They nestle easily for convenient storage. The two smallest bowls are actually too small for any practical mixing, but they are great for condiments.
Handy little bowls January 6, 2001 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got so many compliments on these bowls that I have bought sets for all of my friends and family. At first I was unhappily surprised by how small the smallest bowls were, but they turned out to be the perfect size for holding the kosher salt on the counter, or the lemon rind that needed to be added at the end of a recipe.
Handy and Presentable June 10, 2003 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
These bowls are not large enough for most of my mixing, but they go a long way toward helping me to be neat and organized in my cooking.I usually use these bowls for holding chopped meats and vegetables while cooking: the onions and peppers in the big one, chicken in the next smaller, etc... The smaller two bowls do not come in handy as often, but I often use one to crush garlic into or to measure my dried spices into so they will be ready to drop into a recipe when I need them. The smallest bowl holds about a tablespoon and is my least frequently used bowl. They can be dish-washed or hand-washed quite easily, so I don't resent the extra dishes this dirties. They are also quite useful on the table. They don't make a fancy presentation, but they have stayed shiny and free of dings and dents. The selection of sizes means I can usually find one that fits my quantity of dip or sauce. I've used the largest one to serve rice. I usually use at least a few of them when serving a variety of toppings for tacos.
Very Handy Bowls December 28, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I really found these to be a must have with baking. They are small, but you can measure out all of your ingredients in advance. This saves alot of time!
A nice set of preparation bowls March 17, 2004 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Highly recommended. These bowls are well made and much heavier than other comparable small stainless bowls. Made in India.
