This Charmin tissue is soft, which is key to use on the areas that TP is typically used. It is so soft you can use it for your nose with no problems. The tissue is also thick so it is absorbant as well. On the down side, be careful not to use too much at a time or you might clog the toilet. I tried Scott tissue and was sorely dissapointed by its 1-ply thickness and rough texture, but this Charmin does the trick.

Costs a bit more, but my family always notices (and complains) when I use anything else.
Good value May 19, 2008
I have recently starting buying by volume and Amazon is a terrific spot to do so, especially with the free shipping, costs, time, gas and the hassle of crowds.. Ultra Charmin is by far the best IMO.. This is a really good deal, arrived quickly and in excellent condition.

I've traveled a bit through six countries and it's interesting to note the values different cultures place on the humdrum aspects of daily living. Take the matter of bathroom tissues, for example. I'd say that, on the whole (no pun intended), American bathroom tissues are by far the best. After you've experienced those little sheets of waxed paper or the softer varieties made with spun glass, it's just so comforting to be back in America. What a relief! It takes a few days for the chapping to subside, but gives a new appreciation for the society in which we live.
The quality and variety of American tissues is amazingly high. Visit the average supermarket, for example, and you probably have the choice of about a half-dozen brands. Plus, you can find different colors, textures and whatnot all. The available possibilities are almost overwhelming. Likewise, in traveling around America, the quality of tissues found in filling stations, hotels, campsites and other people's houses is uniformly of moderately good to excellent quality. Still, it's good to get back home to our favorite brand.
We've tried quite a few brands, but we always go back to Charmin Ultra Soft. It's just so, well, soft and gentle. Plus, it's extremely absorbent. For those who appreciate the finest in day-to-day living, wipe after wipe this brand is about as good as you can get. We typically buy it in a megasized package at our local warehouse club.

Strong Even When Wet January 7, 2009
Charmin bathroom tissues are our choice in our household. It is pretty strong even it gets wet. Likewise it is very soft and gentle to your nose. We actually prefer it than ordinary box tissues when we have colds. When you are in the car and grab a fly of box tissues, you see micro lints float everywhere. Not as bad with a roll of Charmin. It is also cheaper for that purpose.
