5 out of 5 stars Great Bed   November 2, 2008

This particular unit (classic raised unit) works great, inflates in about 2 minutes. Deflates in less than 30 seconds, competitor models have an issue with deflating (takes quite awhile). The reason I bought the classic raised is I had seen reviews on other raised beds and they had an issue with toppling over if one person sleeps on it or if 2 sleep on it and one gets off (I bet that's a comical seen). This unit has a bit wider base than the bed so toppling over is not an issue unless you really try to. The quality of construction is excellent compared to cheaper units, can't go wrong purchasing this bed.

5 out of 5 stars Great Bed, Very Comfortable   August 26, 2008

When I setup/Inflated this bed I was surprised at how easy and fast it was to setup. The bed is extremely comfortable which was unexpected considering it's an inflatable bed, a nice surprise. It's very supportive, does not sag in the middle like some other beds I've tried. Quick & easy to deflate, just rolled it up and put it in the storage bag that it came with, easy. I also like the fact that the bed is raised off the floor and once you put a dust ruffle (which was included) and a sheet on it's hard to tell it's an inflatable bed.

All in all... I'm happy with my purchase, I recommend this bed.

5 out of 5 stars More Comfortable than a Conventional Bed!   August 26, 2008

Any time guest stay over they always rave about how comfortable this Aero bed is and that it is better than the bed they have at home. This is a raised bed that is about as high as a normal bed so you are not laying on the floor and getting in and out is much easier. The pump has a control wand for inflation and can also adjust the firmness to your liking.
I love the convience as I don't have to have my spare room filled up with a bed until I need it. It inflates in minutes but probably the best feature is the large valve that can deflate the bed in one minute and then back into its carry bag for storage.
This is my second Aero bed as I have one I use for traveling and I highly reccomend them.

5 out of 5 stars Ease and comfort   August 26, 2008

This bed couldn't be more perfect for having friends and family stay the night at my place. Stores in our closet and we can toss it into our spare room in a moment's notice. Not only is it convenient, but it's extremely comfortable. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's nicer than my bed. And when you're done, it deflates quickly and is easy to roll back up for storage. If you have people stay over, however frequently, and you don't have an extra bed for them to sleep in, you owe it to yourself (and them) to get one of these.

3 out of 5 stars Good matress, not as fabulous as claimed   October 25, 2008
I bought this item as a guest bed as my second child took over the guest bedroom. I knew that it was chancy ordering this as a guest bed . . .but I thought "what the heck."

Stuff I Like
1.) The height is really nice. Works as a stand in bed
2.) Tuckable sheets. We put a matress pad, footed sheet, and tucked in top sheet on this matterss and it worked awesome
3.) Padded top is pretty comfortable (though not as nice as everyone made it out to be . . . OK I have a 1500 King Sized pillow top mattress that I sleep on).
4.) Pumps up fast (3 minutes maybe), and deflates via a latched door (valve) at the base of the matress in about 30 seconds if you lay on the bed (which is pretty fun)

Stuff I don't like
a.) the matress is pretty light (being an air matress) and has a tendency to shift around. I fixed this somewhat by putting it in a corner for my guests.
b.) It smells of plastic and rubber. The sheets helped this
c.) The "duffel bag" that comes with it is too big to keep it folded up and is cheep. I give it 4 uses before it pops a seam
d.) The sides roll. You cant sit on the side or roll to the edge lest you find yourself on your arse
e.) The top of the matress doesn't measure to queen size. Only if you count the extra 4" of bulge on the sides past the "top" does it measure queen. Granted it fills up a queen sized fitted sheet due to the bulge, but between the soft sides and the 4 less inches . . . this matress doesn't feel like a queen
f.) There isn't any partitioning between sides, so movements are felt back and forth, though not nearly as much as normal for an air matress.

Other notes
My guests have all said that the matress is very comfortable, and they aren't the type to lie. I would not count it as comfortable as my matress, but again, it's not nearly as expensive.
